- These are inspirational Christian stories of love. Stories of young woman who need to make a better life for themselves and the lonely men out West who receive them like chattel. And, how they learn to care for each other. The stories are nice.
- A God fearing woman and four unruly sons until her death
Amazing how much a life lived by good example can influence 4 sons to become better men. Good plot and a fun read - Stories as presented in ap, had a few typos, otherwise a nice collection. Format and editing could have been better.
- More like short stories, easy, quite reading. Stories are clean and cute. Good that it was free b boxed set
- I really enjoyed these books. Minor disclaimer, the final book is not strictly part of the Dalton series but is loosely connected and actually precedes the other four.
- The stories were good stories. I can't express my disappointment I the errors during the last book. When in the same paragraph you call the same person two different names and have typographical errors throughout is just takes away from the authors writings.
- Mail order brides with unusual circumstances that cause friction with their betrothed due to the brides lying to their grooms about age or something else.
