God Ain't Blind Mary Monroe Books Reviews

  • I have rooted for Annette since Book 1. She is complicated, intriguing and a victim of circumstance. The book is so good. I do get tired of the author's use of "incredulous look" and "thoughtful look" and "exasperated" on every other page. Otherwise, I could not put the book down. As with all the other stories, I read the twisted plot with much anticipation.
  • I like this series although I enjoyed the first three books more than I did this one. It's like there's just drama thrown in for the sake of drama in the later ones. I enjoyed the growing pains the characters went through when they were younger, but as they became older their issues became a little outlandish. Rhoda was a little unbelievable, but I I liked her as a character and their friendship. Rhoda's daughter Jade serves very little purpose except to stir up drama where there doesn't really need to be any in this book and the last. Overall I do like the books, I guess I was just expecting a little more after the first three.
  • Don't be so blind is what I was telling Annette.

I saw right thru the situation between Louis and Annette.

I kept thinking Annette please don't fall for this especially when it came to the money!!

Pee Wee , was blind about what Rhoda would and would not do.

The things he thought Rhoda wouldn't do .

Humh, little did he know about his long long friend.

He may have know Rhoda longer but Annette really knew her.

As for Jada she did get what she deserved and no I did not feel sorry for her.

She is certainly Rhoda's daughter .

We found out God Ain't Blind !!
  • It started off with drama, but the series is starting to turn into a raunchy, hot mess. I didn’t really like the last one so this one may be my last book I read in this series.
  • I love Mary Monroe's books. I have read. 'God Don't like ugly and God still don't like ugly. I will read the entire series.
  • Good book
  • I thought the book was okay, I didn't like the fact that Annette is a doormat for everyone and lets people (Jade) talk to in such a disrespectful way, but time a man (Louise) is caught using her, she goes off on him. How dumb is Rhoda's husband to not know what is going on right under his nose.
