- A contemporary western romance that hits all the right buttons. One of my personal pet peeves when it comes to romances is authors going overboard with conflicts between the two main characters but this author didn't do that and kept the ones she did put in to a minimum, which in my opinion brought out the best in this book. I can recommend this book without hesitation if you are looking for a satisfying romance that makes you want to buy more from the author right away.
- I think this is my favorite "Lucky Penny Ranch" book yet! From prior books, I thought Deke was a serial womanizer! So glad he proved himself to be a lot more than that! Love Josie's ability to let him into her life, even though she was not so sure she wanted to. And my very favorite line from the book? "I love babies" spoken by Deke. Love a man who is not afraid to say that! Way to go Carolyn! And now onto Happy, Texas! Road trip!
- This was a fitting addition to the Lucky Penny Ranch series...sweet, sexy, hot and totally Carolyn Brown. I loved it! Josie and Deke go through multiple adventures on the way to their happily ever after that will delight readers. Carolyn Brown is a must buy author...even if y'all don't live in Texas like I do. Highly recommend.
- I'd been waiting on this.... kindle offered it, Thank you God, for a Very cost. We are on a tight budget with a 2.5 year old surprise baby in our forties, But this Momma would pay triple for a story like like this! Carolyn Brown never disappoints. I learn a lesson with each book. And, devour the good read!
